ST MARTHAS NURSING HOME - CHARLEVILLE, CO

My mother is there currently and loving it. She is 94, recently asked me to bring her a dictionary for doing crosswords, which the staff help her with. she has a view out on to a field where there are four horses, we also got permission to put a suction bird feeder on the window, so she can see the spring activity just around the corner. The food is magnificent and in just over 2 weeks she has gained 7 kilo's. During the Ireland Scotland game which I watched in my mothers room, I got vocally roused to the point of yelling so loud that the whole of the staff in proximity of the room were at the door before one could say " Jack Robinson ". A testimony to the action reaction of their concern, it was the most reassuring encounter I ever witnessed. My mother told me that she never met such genuine people before. Golden wonders, the mist, the en passant encounters of an ant gone the wrong way. it was a reminder of the power in the smiles of our Sally O’Brien's.
