TONIC HAIR AND BEAUTY BAR - DUBLIN, IE

Absolutely shocking, turn over in staff is shocking. I was a 1st year apprentice when I started in tonic hair and beauty bar. Was treated absolutely horrible by the owner Ruth field. Nearly turned me completely off the hairdressing career. She payed me 3:50 an hour and had me cleaning skirting boards with no training. She used cheap products claiming they were "expensive complimentary treatments" and over charging the clients. I had so much cracks in my hands the stuff was like paint stripper. My mother then passed and I had to take s few days off work she told me not to come back as " she needs someone who is able". Thankfully I am now a qualified hairdresser with peter mark and you cannot put all experiences down to small salons. She has a girl managing the place under a different name for tax reasons. This girl is claiming every benefit under the sun. The treat the oaps horribley take advantage of them and take their money through false advertising. Made a young trainee do 3 weeks of hard work and never paid, her father came barging in to be told his daughter wasn't good enough why should she be paid after travelling from kill! Awful crowd
